In the summer of 2010, Simply Snooty Boutique’s doors opened to the public by Brenda Jane “BJ” Franklin, a native of Sevierville, Tennessee. In the early 80’s, BJ’s first passion was opening a floral shop in downtown Sevierville. She later started selling ladies fashion along with the florist. Her clothing boutique business began to grow, and in June 2010 she relocated the boutique to 932 Parkway, Sevierville, TN, leaving the flower shop downtown.

She built a strong connection with the local community, as well as the visitors traveling into the area. For the next 5 years she continued to manage both businesses. In 2015, BJ passed away after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Her legacy continued with the help of her friends and family. The flower shop closed after a run of almost 30 years, but the aspiration of keeping the boutique opened remained hopeful. In 2016, her granddaughter, Katie Franklin Marine, joined the Simply Snooty team. Over the course of the next 3 years, with the help and guidance of her coworkers, she now proudly continues her grandmother’s legacy. Almost ten years since opening its doors, Simply Snooty Boutique has flourished and we are proud to introduce our online store!
